Lamprima Adolphinae is a species of stag beetle that is native to West Papua in Indonesia. Lamprima Adolphinae ranges greatly in color and individuals can sport green, gold, brown, and blue coloration. They are a relatively small species coming in at around 50mm for large males.
All illustrations in the series Coleoptera are drawn from my own collection of beetles, sourced ethically and sustainable.
The beetles are pinned and spread entrirely by myself and used directly as a reference for my illustrations.
