Goliathus orientalis is a species of beetles belonging to the family Scarabaeidae and is one of the largest species of the genus Goliathus, with a body length of about 50–100 millimetres (2.0–3.9 in) in males, of about 50–65 millimetres (2.0–2.6 in) in females.
All illustrations in the series Coleoptera are drawn from my own collection of beetles, sourced ethically and sustainable.
The beetles are pinned and spread entrirely by myself and used directly as a reference for my illustrations.
